Serbian esports organization 9Pandas has unveiled their new roster for the upcoming series of Dota 2 tournaments. Posted on the team’s official Telegram, the roster will see Alexey “Solo” Berezin return from inactive status, and Daniil “erase” Ivanov and Maksim “pjoN” Netrebskiy stand in for the squad at least for the DreamLeague Season 24 qualifiers.
Solo finds himself returning to the roster after being moved to the inactive roster in July following the team’s successive disappointing performances at the Riyadh Masters qualifiers, The International 2024 qualifiers, and Elite League Season 2 qualifiers.
Solo, whose infamy as the player behind the 322 meme has diminished in recent years, has been at the top of EEU Dota for years, and is one of the most experienced captains in the region.
Daniil “erase” Ivanov joins the squad from Yellow Submarine, becoming the team’s starting mid laner. pJoN, who also recently played for Yellow Submarine, is a talented offlaner known for his Mars play, and will be standing in for an absent Albert “alberkaaa” Chernoivanov during the upcoming qualifiers. Alberkaaa himself is currently competing for L1GA TEAM.
This trio will join existing 9Pandas players, Mikhail “Darklord^” Blinov and Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet, rounding out this qualifier roster.
9Pandas’ Qualifier Roster
- Mikhail “Darklord^” Blinov
- Maksim “pjoN” Netrebskiy
- Daniil “erase” Ivanov
- Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet
- Alexey “Solo” Berezin
The Serbian org will unfortunately not have a chance to play in BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, and instead seem focused on qualifying for DreamLeague Season 24. Which makes sense – DreamLeague potentially earns the team Dota 2 EPT Points which will get it closer to events such as ESL One Bangkok.
