The latest September update for Clash of Clans has announced a series of new features that have brought new challenges and rewards. The update has been thematic of a tabletop RPG adventure that will take you on an epic journey to “The Clash of Dragons,” a newly introduced legendary area.
Clan Notice Boards: A New Way to Recruit
One of the major updates is a new feature-the Clan Notice Board. Clan leaders and co-leaders are hereby endowed with the capability to create their personal Clan notice board, which can be displayed for other players in search of a clan to join. This will make recruitment easier for clans as players will be matched with clans that fit their preferences and playing style.
Able to customize messages, requirements, and notice backgrounds, this Clan Notice Board offers players a more functional and personalized way of connecting to and building robust communities inside the game.
Supercharge: Temporary Building Boosts
The second important addition in the update is a system of temporary upgrades of buildings titled Supercharge. At max level, players can supercharge their buildings to give them additional stats for a fixed amount of time. On each building, players can add up to three supercharges offering different stat boosts.
These boosts will be available for a very limited period of time, until another new building level becomes available. Players will have to upgrade smartly, keeping the cost of Builder time and other resources that supercharging requires in mind.
Treasure Hunt and Magic Snacks
The new update also introduces a totally new event: the Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt. While attacking an opponent, players can now find treasure chests, coming in four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. These treasure chests come with various rewards, from resources and decorations through magic items to skins.
All these rewards and chests will definitely be a positive sign for the Clash of Clans player count.
Notably, there are consumables, a new class of items called the Magic Snacks. Unlike magic items, Magic Snacks are temporary; they expire in 24 hours if unused. These give really cool boosts, like instant army training or builder boosts that drive some urgency in using them. Additionally, players who get really lucky might find themselves opening Legendary treasure chests and unlocking exclusive skins.
Hard Mode Adjustments
For the players looking for an even greater challenge, Clash of Clans has made adjustments to Hard Mode. The level of equipment for the Heroes has been capped. To explain in detail, Common equipment is to be leveled up to 15, while Epic is to be leveled up to 21. Attacking Heroes are to get a 5% decrease in DPS and HP when Hard Mode Adjustment is taken into consideration. However, the boost in the Defense DPS will remain the same.
These changes in Clash of Clans September Update is an attempt to balance Hard Mode, so that both attacks and defenses can be more interesting and balanced in their challenge.
