Thunderpick has announced the location, dates, and teams competing in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 later this year. The event will bring together 16 of the best CS2 teams from around the globe to Berlin, Germany, for some high-quality gameplay on the server as they compete for the lion’s share of a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will kick off on October 21st, commencing with an online Group Stage which will run until the 25th. The Quarter-Finals will swiftly follow on October 26th.
Afterward, the event will take a few days off, with a two-day LAN Finals event starting on November 2nd in Berlin, Germany. It promises to be a thrilling end to the event, which first began its journey with regional qualifiers back in April.
As part of the announcement, Thunderpick also announced the first 10 teams playing in this blockbuster CS2 tournament. The following teams will be competing at the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, including those qualified from the online regional qualifiers:

- Fnatic
- Falcons
- BLEED (EU Qualifier 1)
- Cloud9 (EU Qualifier 2)
- Imperial (SA Qualifier 1)
- BESTIA (SA Qualifier 2)
- M80 (NA Qualifier 1)
- Legacy (NA Qualifier 2)
