How to Get Shells in Lego Fortnite
Collecting shells is pretty simple, but you’ll need to be in a particular biome. Shells are dropped by enemies called Rollers. While there’s resources, animals, and creatures that are dependent on being in different biomes, the Rollers are easy to find. They’re spawn near where you first start off playing Lego Fortnite, being some of the weakest enemies. This is what you’ll need to do to find Shells:
- Track Down a Roller

- With your Sword ready, take them on in combat
- Attack them most easily when they’re stationary
- After a hit or two, they’ll swipe back so pull away

- When they pull themselves in, they’re preparing to charge at you
- You’ll need to dodge their charge to avoid taking damage
- Once defeated, they’ll drop Shells

Where to Find Rollers
If you’ve got a big project that requires a lot of shells, how can you ensure enough rollers? These little guys spawn all over. They’re one of Lego Fortnite’s most persistent enemies. You’ll find the normal grind in grasslands, which is the simplest Lego Fortnite biome to track things down in.
You can find rollers elsewhere too with a varied appearance to match their new locale. However, the grassland ones are probably the easiest to farm. There aren’t that many other major dangers, beyond bears. So, it’s easy to track them down and safely kill enough to collect all your shells. Since this is combat rather than sheer harvesting, this can be a much more resource to collect. Compared to smashing rocks for obsidian in Lego Fortnite or chopping down trees, this is a big more fun to stock up on.
