OG’s Dota 2 squad has continued its on-going roster shuffle as it moves Bozhidar “BZM” Bogdanov, the team’s mid player since 2021, to the inactive roster. The Bulgarian player’s shift out of the starting lineup was confirmed on Sunday, Sep. 22, across social media.
As mentioned, BZM has been a part of the OG starting lineup since November 2021, where he formed the core of the OG 2.0 roster which was highlighted in the announcement Tweet. Part of an OG squad that took home multiple Major victories, such as ESL One Stockholm 2022 and ESL One Malaysia, BZM and OG’s success couldn’t translate into podium success on larger international stages.
Regardless, BZM been a core part of the OG roster for almost three full years, and is one of the most recognisable members of the modern OG lineup.
His departure comes a day after the announcement that OG’s Enzo “Timado” Gianoli had departed the team.
With the departure, OG currently only has three members on its starting roster, Adrián “Wisper” Dobles, Matthew “Ari” Walker, and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs. The team is reportedly set to compete in the qualifiers of both DreamLeague Season 24, and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, but missed out narrowly on qualifying for next months PGL Wallachia Season 2.
As a result, it’s expected we see a new lineup announced for OG sometime in the near future – likely before qualifiers start next week.
