In a totally unsurprising move, Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnitemares will return in 2024. For the most part, every single year since the game was made has had some sort of Halloween celebration, and this year will be no different. Spooky items, scary skins, and more are expected to arrive soon for the Halloween season.
With September almost over, it’s a good time to take a look at what Epic might have in store for players this time around.
Fortnitemares 2024 Leaks and Reveals
The first and perhaps most important aspect of Fortnitemares is when it happens. According to ShiinaBR, a renowned leaker, the update will drop in the middle of October, either the 11th or the 15th.
Unsurprisingly, it will include Halloween skins, collaborations, and scarier gameplay. Saw, the iconic horror franchise, has been confirmed with a teaser already. For now, that’s all that is officially known. Everything else is speculation, but there is plenty of that.
Leaks and rumors always come out around this time. Fortnitemares has been rumored to get a FNAF collab for virtually forever. Perhaps this is the year it finally happens, though fans may no longer be holding their breath. Aside from Saw, there’s plenty potentially on the way. Mephisto, the Marvel devil essentially, is rumored to be coming. Another wave of A Nightmare Before Christmas has been rumored as well.
Ghostface, the iconic killer from the Scream franchise, has been rumored as well. Jason Voorhees may make an appearance this year, too. Those are the rumors regarding new skins, but old skins will also return. Though not confirmed, it’s very possible that the following skins will make it back to the Item Shop at some point next month:
- Michael Myers
- Jack Gourdon
- Brainiac
- Peely Bone
- Skull Trooper
- Grimoire
Epic Games rarely misses a chance to capitalize on a season or moment, so expect a lot of Fortnitemares skins to rotate in and out of the shop over the next few weeks.
