LoL Patch 14.22 – Ambessa hits Summoner’s Rift!

LoL Patch 14.22 – Warwick changes?

LoL Patch 14.21 was officially released on October 23 and with that, a new cycle of updates begin for Riot developers as the season is coming to a close end.

We had a major Swain rework as well as several champion changes in the current patch, which will likely shake things up, especially in the higher Elos, with picks like Galio, Camille, Karthus, and others all getting nerfed.

Irelia’s buff will be the most important for me. We’ll see whether that puts her in a better spot in the solo lanes. The objective bounties will also impact some of the most snowbally games, giving teams more chances at coming back and decreasing the chances of snowballing.

Considering it’s the start of the patch, we only have a few leaks on the intended change list. As usual, you can find the changes in the sections below.

Patch 14.22 Release Date

According to the official patch schedule, Patch 14.22 will be released on Wednesday, November 6. This will be the 22nd patch out of the 24 updates planned for the year.

Patch 14.22 Tentative Changes

Champion changes in Patch 14.22

Warwick

• W move speed: 35% – 65% ⇒ 30% – 50%
• W mana cost: 70 ⇒ 35
• W active range: 4000 ⇒ 3000
• W cooldown: 100 – 40 seconds ⇒ 80 – 40 seconds
• W cooldown is now reduced to 30% if no one is found
• W no longer cools down twice as fast when not hunting
• W is no longer put on a 3-second cooldown in combat

• 4% move speed removed
• Passive move speed: 200 ⇒ 300
