Pioneer acquires NGMI Labs for $7 million
Pioneer Media Holdings, a company that is investing in NFTs, gaming and eSports announced the acquisition of NGMI Labs for $7 million to further enter the world of DAOs and Web 3.
NGMI Labs helps create DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) and tokenize communities.
Mike Edwards, CEO of Pioneer commented on the news:

Pulp Fiction NFTs
Some time ago, Quentin Tarantino decided to auction off the NFTs from his famous film Pulp Fiction, but Miramax, the film’s production company, decided to sue him for copyright infringement.
Today, however, the director has decided to continue with his plan to put the film’s NFTs up for sale on the Secret Network platform and no longer on OpenSea.
On this marketplace, the sale of the film’s cut and unedited scenes in the form of non-fungible tokens will continue.
The Sandbox announces the creation of Mega City
The Sandbox’s metaverse in collaboration with Animoca Brands, new collaborations with various Hong Kong companies and artists to create a new cultural hub called Mega City.
To celebrate this project, Sandbox will open sales of these new Mega City LANDs from 13 January.
Among The Sandbox’s new partners for Mega City are Adrian Cheng, Sun Hung Kai & Co, PwC Hong Kong, TIMES CAPITAL, actor Stephen Fung, star Shu Qi, musician Dough-Boy and illustrator Dreamergo.
