Milan, 8 July 2022 – Lenovo unveiled an exclusive collaboration with international artist Giuseppe Lo Schiavo, aka Glos, at Spazio Lenovo to mark the arrival in Italy of the seventh generation of Yoga Slim: the premium notebook PC series designed for the new needs of content creators that combines power and flexibility, with performance optimized by Lenovo A.I Engine+, for intelligent on-the-go productivity management.
By experimenting between technology and digital art, and combining the latest innovations in personal computing with creativity, a unique and unrepeatable work of art made entirely from Yoga Slim 7i Pro X was born.
Giuseppe Lo Schiavo stated:
“I was able to create the Henosis artwork thanks to the very high performance of the Yoga Slim 7i Pro X notebook that allowed me to work away from the studio, between London, Milan and Athens without compromising on battery and performance. The work consists of more than 16 million polygons and 2GB of ultra-high resolution textures, 32 photometric lights and 1500 total frames at ultra-high resolution of 4K. A digital work, an animation of more than 60 seconds that only a short time ago would have been impossible to realize entirely with a portable notebook”.
Henosis, the concept of the work
Science and technological advances are shaping our experience on this planet and playing an unprecedented role in defining our contemporary civilization. We are evolving alongside technology, and the process is mutualistic. The work manifests as a metaphysical journey between past and present, a tribute toward some of the technological, scientific, and computational advances of the last decade.
From genetic mapping to artificial intelligence to reconstructing the image of a black hole, technology defines the present and redesigns the future. Man is technology and is co-evolving with it in a kind of biological, social and cultural symbiosis. The title of the work, Henosis, from the ancient Greek, “union”, refers precisely to the “symbiosis” of our species with technology.
A special edition of 25 copies as a gift to Yoga Slim fans
The unique work will be available as a limited edition NFT for Yoga Slim fans who are the first to purchase the seventh generation of notebook PCs in Lenovo Space. Only by purchasing Yoga Slim 7i Pro X, Yoga Slim 7 Pro X or Yoga Slim 7i Carbon will it be possible to receive a free unique copy of the special limited edition of 25 copies as NFT. Pietro Parodi, Communication Manager of Lenovo in Italy, commented:
“We are excited to celebrate 10 years of Yoga innovation with a unique digital artwork, created by internationally renowned Italian artist Glos, who chose Yoga Slim 7i Pro X to tell the story of the union between creativity and technology. Today the way of enjoying content, creating and collecting it has changed. This is the starting point from which Yoga Slim was born, to enable the new generation of content creators to be free to express themselves, find solutions and new art forms thanks to Lenovo’s smarter technology”.

The new Yoga devices are available with Premium Care 2-year on-site service for an even better experience with your PC. The service includes priority treatment, personalized hardware and software support from experts, annual PC health checks, and more.
