One of the most bizarre collaborations in Final Fantasy XIV history is returning next week as the FFXIV x Fall Guys event returns next week. Announced on Oct. 16, the Fall Guys collaboration will run from Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 8:00am GMT until the release of Patch 7.1.
The event, which first appeared in 2023, gives FFXIV players the chance to unlock special Fall Guys themed cosmetics, mounts, and minions by completing a Fall Guys-style parkour in the Manderville Golden Saucer (Final Fantasy XIV’s Casino-type operation).

Initially running between Oct. 31 and Dec. 31, 2023, the even returned in May of 2024. This will be the event’s third run, and the third time players will have a chance to earn the rewards.
Those rewards? Over two dozen unique Fall Guys-themed rewards. These are earned by gaming MGF, a unique currency earned by completing the Blunderville battle royale game mode. Winning the game mode against 24 other players will also earn you a crown, and a special achievement.
The Fall Guys event joins multiple other goings-on in FFXIV at the moment – Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt for Goetia kicked off on Oct. 15, two days ago. All Saints’ Wake 2024 is set to start tomorrow.
All of these events seem primed to bring players back to the game ahead of the release of patch 7.1, the first story update to the game since the release of FFXIV’s Dawntrail expansion. We’ve detailed everything being added in the 7.1 update before, but just in case, there’s new MSQ, a new dungeon, new Extreme trial, new Unreal trial, new Alliance Raid, crafter quests, and even more besides.
