Fortnite is in the midst of one of its most exciting periods, the build-up to a brand-new season. One of the biggest mysteries is always the new map, the thing that will dominate gameplay over the coming year. With the most recent release from Epic, we’ve got a decent look at parts of the Fortnite Chapter 6 map for the first time.
This week, teasers have stepped up for Chapter 6. We’ve had confirmation of the theme, key art of skins released. Even Fortnite collabs like Godzilla have been confirmed! One thing we’ve been a bit unsure about though is the map. While we don’t have the actual map view, a recent piece of art teasing the season has given us a good look at how some of the POIs in the upcoming season are going to look.
By the looks of it, it’s quite an interesting take on a new Fortnite island. There are fun-looking POIs, along with a strange turtle area! What have we learned from the new Fortnite Chapter 6 map reveal?

Fortnite Chapter 6 Map Revealed in Promo Art
Today, Epic’s shown off two new announcements for Chapter 6. One showcased Hope, a Fortnite character who has been central to the game lately in a new design. Next though, is a piece of art showcasing a few skins in front of a mish-mash of areas from our new map. It’s the background of this image that has proved the most interesting though! It’s got some peaks at what’s coming with Fortnite Chapter 6 on the map.

To start, we’ve got some POIs similar to our last Japanese-themed season. There’s a more urban city area, along with some traditional housing. The urban area even shows off a new version of Durr Burger for this map. Plus, in the very background, there’s a mountain which could be that all-important high ground for the new season.

There’s quite a bit here which could be a few different POIs on the map. One thing that’s particularly interesting though is a turtle with trees growing all over his back. This has the potential to be a dynamic area, kind of like Klombo in previous seasons. An area with trees and cover, but on the back of a giant, living, moving creature! The other major feature is another appearance of Godzilla, who looks set to be the breakout collab of the next season.
This new Fortnite Chapter 6 map reveal is making the new island look like one of our most exciting yet. There are just a few days left before we can jump in and try it out at the end of the current Fortnite season and the start of a new one.
