Fortnite is still wrapping up its fourth Season of Chapter 5. Fans are always looking ahead though and we already know quite a bit about where the game is going. We’ve learned more about what’s up next recently, with a leak claiming to have the Fortnite Chapter 6 update schedule.
According to leaker ShiinaBR, the update dates for Fortnite Chapter 6 and OG have been established. This could show us what big updates are coming for not only the next OG mini-season but beyond and into Chapter 6. Fortnite leaks frequently show up seasons ahead of time, with Epic working quite far ahead. This current look could show us what’s coming for the next 6 months of Fortnite though.
OG Schedule
Before we move into Fortnite Chapter 6, we’re revisiting Chapter 2. Out of all Fortnite seasons, this is the Chapter that we’ve been the longest away from since we saw Chapter 1 last year. This year’s OG will take us back to three seasons in Chapter 2. However, it seems there are two major update dates revealed so far. These will be:
- OG Launch – November 2
- First Update – November 12
Fortnite Chapter 6 Update Schedule
OG is coming back first, but we’re still expecting the launch of a brand new Fortnite Chapter 6 this year. This is where we’ll get a fresh map, new mechanics, it will be all change. We won’t know too many details on this bit of Fortnite news until we get closer. However, Fortnite leakers have found this Fortnite Chapter 6 update schedule in the files that could give us a hint at where we’re going:
- Chapter 6 – December 1
- V33.10 December 10
- V33.20 January 14
- V33.30 February 4
- Chapter 6 Season 2 – February 21
- V34.10 March 11
- V34.20 March 25
These dates seem like the most likely ones for our biggest updates of the season. These are always just temporary dates though. Epic can bring new updates out all the time and delays and changes will happen with a game this big. Even recently we’ve seen a hotfix to remove the jetpack at a pretty random date. These dates could change as we get closer.
