Fortnite Remix is officially here, and players are experiencing the Chapter 2 version of the game all over again. This is Epic Games’ second trip to the past. Last year, they reverted the game to the Chapter 1 map, gameplay, and more for a month. It worked so well that they decided to try it with the Chapter 2 map and gameplay.
In OG, the return to Chapter 1, there were almost weekly updates to progress through the seasons. In Remix, the return to Chapter 2, Epic has a similar plan, and the first update to the game is already confirmed for next week, with a few key additions on the way.
First Fortnite Update Remix Coming Soon
According to prominent and reliable leaker HYPEX, the first Remix update is set to arrive on November 13. That’s a little more than a week from now, so players will have time until then to enjoy everything exactly as it is in the main game mode. In this update, a few major changes are expected to occur. Ice Spice and her Mythics will land on the island, and she will have her own POI much like Snoop Dogg.
In that same update, the next major POI change will be added to the files. Juice WRLD, who has long been teased, will finally be in the game files. He is also getting a POI and Mythics. Those two changes will likely be all for Fortnite Remix. The only other addition in the November 13 patch is the finale live event details.
That live event, while maybe not including a concert, will likely mirror the Big Bang event from OG. That was used to transition back out of the past and into a totally new future. Something will have to be done to take players from Chapter 2 into Chapter 6 when Remix ends, and Epic is planning a concluding live event. It remains to be seen what that will entail, but next week’s update should provide some more clarity.
