Blockchain gaming platform GameSwift has announced a partnership with UK AI outfit Fetch.ai. This will see Fetch.ai’s technology integrated into GameSwift’s core app, the GameSwift Launcher.
The integration will allow the users of GameSwift Launcher to offer their unused GPU cycles to Fetch.ai’s distributed agent infrastructure. This is used to support AI applications ranging from text-to-speech, natural voice generation, document analysis and music creation. GameSwift reckons that more than two-thirds of its users currently have unused GPU capacity.
Another aspect of the deal will see GameSwift enables its users to host LLMs on their local device, which it will make available to both its and Fetch.ai’s community so they can explore uses of AI for tasks such as text transformation, voice generation and document analysis without compromising data privacy.
GameSwift will also become a member of the non-profit Fetch.ai Foundation.
“We are excited to be the first gaming-focused project to integrate Fetch.ai’s cutting-edge infrastructure, pioneering AI’s transformative potential in the gaming industry,” commented GameSwift’s CTO Tom Kowalczyk.
“With Fetch.ai, we aim to offer our launcher users a wide range of AI-driven functionalities delivered in a decentralized and secure manner.
“We are thrilled to welcome GameSwift as our first gaming partner, integrating our advanced AI agent infrastructure into the GameSwift Launcher and joining the Fetch.ai Foundation. This collaboration will unlock new possibilities for AI development by harnessing the untapped GPU power of GameSwift’s user base,” added Fetch.ai’s head of business development Maria Minaricova.
