Indus Battle Royale is soon set to be the latest mobile battle royale title on the block, coming to Android and iOS really soon. If you are wondering what the release date and time for SuperGaming’s new game is, here’s what you need to know.
Indus Battle Royale Release Date and Time
Indus Battle Royale is the latest BR title coming out to compete with the likes of PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. After the lukewarm releases of Warzone Mobile, New State Mobile, and the cancellation of Apex Legends Mobile, the game will compete in a saturated genre for dominance.
Indus Battle Royale, however, has primarily been marketing towards an Indian audience and will look to attract the Free Fire players who have grown restless waiting for Free Fire India. The game resembles in graphics with the BR title and has also announced a year-long esports roadmap to attract players.
If you are one of them and are wondering what the release date for the game is going to be, then the answer is Oct. 16. The exact time for the Indus Battle Royale release hasn’t been revealed but the Instagram account posted a story stating that the game will be out in 24 hours. Based on this, we can speculate that the game will be launched on Oct. 16 at 12 PM IST.
That being said, the game is already available on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store, so you can download it already before the global release.
What to expect from the game?
On its surface, while a unique and standout BR title, it combines certain elements from other games. The most exciting part about its release is the esports roadmap, which will feature an Indus International Tournament with a prize pool of about $297,000, which SuperGaming said in a release is the highest for a BR game in India.
“When we set out to create Indus, our goal was to craft a game that Indian gamers could truly call their own. With the Indus International Tournament, we want to see new heroes rise from our community and take their place in the larger esports ecosystem,” said Roby John, the CEO and co-founder of SuperGaming.
