The lead-up to Sparking Zero’s release has been fun, seeing more and more characters from the expansive world of Dragon Ball added. However, in terms of content from the newest parts of the saga, it’s a bit more mysterious. A lot of fans have been asking is Beast Gohan in Sparking Zero?
The new Beast Gohan transformation debuted in the movie Dragon Ball Super Super Hero. A kind of controversial transformation given it’s lack of explanation, but we’ve seen the same arc adapted to manga and it’s definitely grown on a lot of readers. Even as a recent addition, he’s shown up in Xenoverse. (Plus, with the help of mods FighterZ) Will we see it in the latest game?
The newer Dragon Ball content is mainly being released post-launch. So can we expect to see Beast Gohan in Sparking Zero.

If you’re wondering is Beast Gohan in Sparking Zero, the character hasn’t been confirmed yet, but he seems very likely to make it. Just not as part of the base Sparking Zero roster.
Beast Gohan showing up would be a nice inclusion. Although, other more recent parts of Super don’t seem to be receiving the same treatment. We don’t seem to be getting Moro content or Granolah. Since Super Hero was animated though, it is being included after launch.
It’s important to note Sparking Zero won’t have Super Hero content for everyone. Just like there’s no crossplay in Sparking Zero at launch, some fighters are being held back. The characters from the latest film are currently scheduled to come to the game a bit later.
How to Get Beast Gohan and the Gammas
A handful of characters have been included for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero from Super Hero, Gamma 1, and Gamma 2. Notably, they’re being used as DLC though, not base game content.

All of these characters will be first available as part of the season pass of character. Beast Gohan hasn’t been announced yet, but since the Gammas have made their way in as DLC this seems like the most likely place for him to show up. We could see even more forms from Super Hero debut in later DLC too, like older Goten and Trunks or even Cell Max.
