With Ambessa and Patch 14.22 hitting the live servers, it’s now to turn our eyes to the upcoming update, LoL Patch 14.23. Here’s everything you need to know.
LoL Patch 14.23 – 2 patches before the end of the year
LoL Patch 14.22 was officially released on November 6 and with that, a new cycle of updates is starting for Riot developers before the season wraps up.
The biggest update in the current patch is the introduction of Ambessa Medarda. The champion is finally hitting Summoners’ Rift and she will be at the center of the spotlight with the upcoming release of Arcane season 2 this weekend. Considering how powerful her kit is, we might expect her to receive several changes as the dev team will look to balance her based on her performance on the live servers.
Speaking of Arcane, Riot will be releasing a series of Arcane-themed skins for Vi, Singed, and Caitlyn. The latter will also receive a Prestige version.
Aside from that, expect more champion changes: Riot has been more aggressive lately with the goal of shaking up the meta in every single update. That being said, no changes have been leaked as of right now. Check back in a few days’ time.
