When will the new hero Suyou be released into MLBB?
Suyou will finally be added to MLBB on Sept. 21 when patch 1.8.90 hits the game. The highly anticipated release will bring in the 126th hero of the game, an Assassin, with skills that blends burst damage, mobility, and defensive capabilities.
Suyou MLBB Hero Overview
Drawing inspiration from ancient verses in the region of Zhu’an, Suyou is designed to personify a physical force and a spiritual figure in MLBB. His unique set of skills and the ability to shift between mortal and immortal states create a broad range of possibilities for players to dynamically strategize as a formidable addition to the lineup.
His lore is based on exorcism folk dances that occur in Zhu’an, whereby ancestral verses hint at the hero’s weapon, masks, and abilities. According to Moonton Games, Suyou uses three major weapons: a pair of twin blades, a battle halberd, and a longbow. Each represents one side of himself; therefore, players will get varied combat experiences with him.

Suyou’s Abilities
Suyou’s skill set is based on mobility, crowd control, and devastating AOE damage, with different states of every skill depending on how players cast the skills. Besides the flexibility his skills allow, it highly encourages mastery that can adapt to the battle flow so as to maximize the damage output or survivability at any given time.

Passive: Transient Immortal
Suyou’s passive allows him to switch between his mortal and immortal form.
- Mortal Form: Grants the movement speed boost.
- Immortal Form: Reduces damage taken from hits, scaling with physical attack stats. In return for giving up cooldown reduction, this form gives Suyou increased physical attack power in his other skills, making his gameplay a bit more strategic.
Skill 1: Blade Surge
- Tap-Cast:Â Suyou tosses his weapons and blinks to their location, performing a damaging slash that forms a combo of agility.
- Hold-Cast: Charges forward, stunning enemies on impact, and the distance scaled based on charge time.
Skill 2: Soul Sever
- Tap-Cast: A quick backward-moving slash that deals heavy damage to enemies in a fan-shaped area.
- Hold-Cast: Execute three powerful cleaves. The final blow will deal massive damage and heal Suyou.
