Fortnite Reload is one of the best additions in recent seasons of Fortnite. If you want to sit out the crazy metas of recent seasons with cars and Super Hero items, you had a Chapter 1-inspired mode with tons of players. It’s been limited to the same map so far, but that could be changing. We’ve just seen a new Fortnite Reload map teased by Epic.
Right now, we’re approaching the end of the Fortnite season and with it the end of a Chapter. We’ve got big changes coming to the game. While we’re all gearing up for the return of Chapter 2 in the main game, Reload has had a surprise drop of a major teaser. It looks like a new map might be coming soon. How do we know there’s a map coming and is a rotation coming for the first time to Fortnite?

New Fortnite Reload Map Has Been Teased
Just a day after teasing the huge update we’re expecting to Fortnite Remix, Epic’s dropped another big clue as to what’s coming soon. Fortnite Reload map rotations and a new map could be in the works.
They posted two emojis, one depicting the repeat button and another shuffle. Essentially implying different options being looped, or a form of map rotation. For one thing, this would mean we’re getting a new Fortnite Reload map. You can’t exactly rotate around a single map.
With Chapter 2 coming back, we might be looking at a new version of Reload based on that Chapter. This could cycle in and out with the current reload map. This would definitely spice things up for the mode.
The addition of map rotation for Reload could add a lot of replayability to the game. With the mode already getting Ranked, it seems it’s getting a bigger expansion beyond what Battle Royale receives.
At the moment, Reload is a great alternative for when the main Battle Royale just isn’t cutting it. Adding a secondary map could make it a much better alternative, giving it even more variety than we see in the main mode.
We don’t quit have full confirmation yet. However, Fortnite leaks are pointing towards something big coming for Reload soon.
