Pixelglyphs, a set of 10,000 on-chain Avatar NFTs, will integrateĀ ChainlinkĀ Verifiable Random Functions (VRF) for their upcoming gameĀ Invaders.
Invaders, a 3D pixelized game on Polygon with various NFTs and Mining Traits, will use Chainlink VRF for its tamper-proof and reliable-verified randomness needed to randomize the NFT Mining traits, Star Ships, and Planet NFTs for the upcoming game.
Invadersā economy depends on mining ERC-20 token,Ā Element 69,Ā which can be found on Planets to power your Ship. In order to own a planet, youāll need a Planet NFT; it can be obtained by Planet Mint Passes available on the Invaders Website. There is also the Star Ship NFT which is also required to mine Element 69.
These NFTs have Mining Traits with Different multipliers for each type. You are guaranteed a certain amount when claiming a Mining Reward, and Chainlink will determine the bonus rewards.
āUsing Chainlink VRF enables fair and transparent distribution similar to traditional games. Having verifiably random distribution is very important for a hobby that is built around reputation and trust.ā

About Chainlink
ChainlinkĀ is the industry standard for building, accessing, and selling oracle services needed to power hybrid smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink oracle networks provide smart contracts with a way to reliably connect to any external API and leverage secure off-chain computations for enabling feature-rich applications. Chainlink currently secures tens of billions of dollars across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries and offers global enterprises and leading data providers a universal gateway to all blockchains.
Chainlinkās VRF technology has also been integrated into multiple games and dapps such asĀ Wasder,Ā Dreams Quest,Ā Axie Infinity,Ā My Defi Pet,Ā The Six Dragons,Ā Polyient Games,Ā IGG, and many others.
