Chapter 22 of PUBG Mobile Metro Royale mode is scheduled to go live on Sept. 12, featuring a number of new features, game mechanics, and in-game experience updates. Let’s now see what players will get in this chapter.
PUBG Mobile Metro Royale Chapter 22: Turn into Vampiric Fiends or Wolf Warriors
Similar to the thematic updates made to battle royale in the PUBG Mobile 3.4 update, the Metro Royale mode also introduces a very exciting transformation mechanic. Now, within the players’ backpacks, one will find one bottle of Transformation Sav. This can be used to turn into a vampiric fiend or wolf warrior where, for each type, special abilities give one advantages in battles.
- The Vampiric Fiends could fly out for quick escapes from hordes of zombies, perform a quick dive right from the sky-a move which manages to inflict some damage upon all enemies below-and with defeated enemies, automatically absorbs blood orbs to regenerate health.
- Wolf Warriors get a speed boost, jump boost, and wall climb capability to further advance their mobility; they are also capable of inflicting damage on enemies through melee attacks in close combat. The howl ability buffs the Wolf Warrior and all teammates in its vicinity.
New Room Features and Customization Options
Chapter 22 brings huge improvement to the feature ‘room’, besides including more personalized settings for all users.
- Room Parameter Settings: Part of the original room parameters has been discarded, while part of the new ones has been added. For example, room owners can now allow all members to enable loading the owner’s loadout and talents in order to keep uniformity in loadout for the entire team.
- Match Duration and Return Point Settings: The settings are much more flexible in allowing players to set their match duration and return points.
Moreover, the spectators watching the game can now see an independent return point view on the spectator’s map for a better spectating experience.
Enhanced Controls and Customization
PUBG Mobile has also paid extra attention to giving the players more control over their gaming experience in Metro Royale Chapter 22:
- Now, under the ‘Controls’ section, they will be able to choose ‘Advanced Controls’, showing them options for which teammate outfits to show in a lobby or during a match.
- Another new option is to hide advanced helmets in lobbies, which gives players more personalization options both in the battlefield and out of the battlefield.
Moreover, the update allows only Metro Royale mode to have the function for players to turn off auto-pickup, but it does not tamper with settings from classic mode.
New Season Rewards and Collectibles
Every time there is a new released chapter, there is a display for season rewards and collectibles. Players can level up every new season to earn these kinds of unique items.
Additionally, the update brings special supply crates scattered around MTI Port, Arctic Base, and Zombie Uprising mode. These crates, which may turn into Spectres, contain valuable supplies. Be sure to hunt them down and claim the loot before they escape.
PUBG Mobile Metro Royale Chapter 22 Adds Improved Access
Lastly, PUBG Mobile has introduced a new shortcut feature to make it easier for players to access their favorite game modes. Players can now swipe left from the lobby to quickly navigate to Metro Royale and other most-played game modes.
It’s been more than 4 months since PUBG Mobile made significant additions to the metro royale mode in the 3.2 update. With brand new unique transformations, improved room features, and deeper customization options, PUBG Mobile is aiming to make the Metro Royale mode a more preferred option in among the casual player base.
