Nexon web3 subsidiary Nexpace has opened registrations to the early playtest of MapleStory N.
Open until 7th July, users in selected regions can register by completing a survey via the MapleStory Universe website. Testers will then be chosen and announced on 18th July, with the 10-day Pioneer Test commencing 24th July.
Part of the wider MapleStory Universe ecosystem, PC-based MMORPG MapleStory N uses Nexon’s popular MapleStory IP. It aims to build a user-driven economy based on NFT rewards and digital ownership leveraging blockchain technology.
Designed to stress test the game’s underlying infrastructure and stability, the Pioneer Test will also feature key web3 elements such as the game’s limited supply reward system and user-driven pricing system. In addition, the selection of testers will get a glimpse of the Zakum Boss content.
“We’re excited to announce the registration for MapleStory N’s Pioneer Test. We urge users to register for the test today. We are committed to delivering the best version of MapleStory N to the fans of the MapleStory IP based on the test results,” said Nexpace executive director Sunyoung Hwang.
MapleStory N is scheduled for launch later in 2024.
