Arbitrum L3 blockchain and AI gaming network Anomaly is the latest company to tap into the current Telegram/TON gaming trend. Officially releasing its Telegram bot, Anomaly now lets players access three of its ChatGPT-based mini-games, featuring Dicestone, Pinball, and the upcoming title Wildstone.

Available on both mobile and desktop, in order to onboard new users and boost engagement, the games currently allows referral points with up to 16x multipliers. Additionally, players can connect any of their Anomaly NFT collections to double-up their rewards and points.

“We believe the gaming industry is on the cusp of a transformative shift with the advent of mini-game apps on social platforms like Telegram and now Discord. This evolution represents an untapped user acquisition and engagement frontier, particularly within the web3 space,” said Anomaly CEO and founder Long Do.

The competition among game developers launching via third-party platforms such as Telegram is growing quickly. In particular, clicker mini-games have recently surged in popularity, with games like Notcoin and Hamster Kombat, the latter now claiming to have over 250 million users. 

Another developer leveraging Telegram is Pixelverse with its PixelTap title, for which the company recently raised $2 million in addition to the previously $5.5 million secured. Pixelverse is also preparing to launch its PIXFI token on 18th July. 

“With the widespread popularity and ease of access, we’ve seen a significant uptick in the market for Telegram-based games. We are happy to announce our bot is being made available to the public,” said Long.

In terms of the company, Anomaly has raised $1.45 million from lead investor Decasonic for its AI-powered gaming SDK and L3 blockchain built on Arbitrum Orbit. It’s also recently been approved to take part in Google for Startups Cloud Program.

Canada-based web3 and AI gaming startup Anomaly has launched its AI-driven gaming platform Andromeda testnet, powered by Arbitrum Orbit. 

Aiming to help developers connect with their community and monetize their projects more efficiently, Anomaly is a gaming and SocialFi L3 blockchain leveraging social platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Farcaster and X. This allows developers to focus on creating blockchain-based gaming experiences while the platform onboards the community to their games.

Two games, Dicestone and Wildstone, are currently using the app chain, with more titles to be added regularly.

Anomaly also leverages AI to drive user engagement, by integrating its Sentience SDK, a feature that enables AI-driven matchmaking, decision-making, player model training, automated quest creation, and web3 asset generation.

With the launch on the Arbitrum testnet, Anomaly will leverage Arbitrum’s Anytrust DAC technology, enabling secure, and scalable execution that allows for 250ms block time, facilitating near-instant transactions per second.

In addition, Anomaly is utilizing Node NFT infrastructure using software developer Gelato’s Node-as-a-Service solution. To incentivize more users, the platform will reward its Node NFT holders on a daily basis.
