Blockchain game company Horizon has announced the integration of its web3 tech solution Sequence into ApeCoin DAO’s Arbitrum L3 ApeChain.

Designed to be the infrastructure layer powering upcoming games and dapps within the ApeCoin ecosystem, ApeChain is currently preparing for its mainnet release. A significant part of ApeChain is its full-stack game development platform Ape Builder, which is built by Sequence.

In order to help web3 game developers onboard, monetize, and retain players, Ape Builder leverages Sequence’s end-to-end technology, including its 

• non-custodial smart contract wallet, 
• NFT collection creation and minting, 
• custom marketplaces, 
• payments, 
• advanced analytics, and more.

With the Curtis testnet currently live, game developers can apply for ApeChain’s Ape Builder Launch Partner program, which is available until the mainnet launch.

Blockchain game and tech company Horizon is partnering with Ubisoft on the forthcoming launch of the developer’s debut web3 game Champions Tactics.

More specifically, Horizon’s Sequence tech stack will support Champions Tactics, enhancing the overall game experience. Some key areas Sequence will facilitate is 

• Connecting external wallets to the game. 
• Creating embedded wallets for players that don’t have one already. Horizon claims that Sequence Embedded Wallets achieve a 2x transaction conversion rate compared to a non-Sequence wallets.
• Powering Champions Tactics’ zero-gas custom marketplace, with a web2-like trading experience that doesn’t interrupt gameplay noticeably. 

Deploying on Japanese gaming blockchain Oasys L2 Homeverse, Champions Tactics is a PC turn-based RPG set in the dark world of Grimoria, and the first blockchain game coming from Ubisoft. 

Champions Tactics NFT mint

Indeed, Champions Tactics is currently using Sequence to mint its Champion NFTs which will be playable characters in-game. Owning a Champion also adds several benefits such as VIP status, in-game bonuses and other exclusive rewards. 

With a total supply of 75,000 NFTs, the initial free private mint is now live available for Warlord holders, with almost 30,000 NFTs minted to-date.

Web3 infrastructure platform Sequence has partnered with crypto toolkit provider Transak to help game developers offer simplified onboarding and improved payment systems. 

Currently serving over 350 applications, Transak’s payment stack empowers web3 game developers to add crypto trading solutions directly into their apps, websites, and plugins. It’s currently the only on-ramp provider of Horizon’s Sequence Kit wallet technology.

Alongside the integration, Sequence’s Unity SDK has also adopted Transak’s on-ramp service. This enables players to buy cryptocurrency directly within Sequence-integrated games using fiat currency. The same support for Sequence’s Unreal Engine SDK is also in the plans.
