Boomland is migrating to Immutable zkEVM. And with this move comes a special, Hunters On-Chain, play to airdrop campaign with over 250 million BOOM tokens in rewards!

Fresh off of the Guild of Guardians launch, Immutable zkEVM already has another project lined up for release — Boomland Games. Their free to play, top-down, action-based, fantasy brawler, Hunters On-Chain is ready to move and relaunch on Immutable, offering over 250 million BOOM tokens in a two month, play to airdrop campaign!

BOOM is the primary ecosystem token for Boomland Games. It will be useful throughout all of their projects (which at the moment is only Hunters On-Chain), with both in-game and out of game use cases.

There will be two seasons for this campaign, each a month long. Season one begins in June.

And Boomland plans to make this a play-focused airdrop event. Users can earn points for completing Badges, finishing Quests, and Referring new players. Badges are in-game, one-time achievements for things such as owning specific hunters or doing a certain amount of damage to Kevin the Dragon. Quests are daily game tasks. And referrals, well, you know what referrals are. But aside from that, no other social engagement required. No Discord events or re-tweeting or any of that sort of stuff that often comes with these campaigns.

This first play to airdrop event will start everyone on equal footing. No existing Hunter NFTs may be used. The game is open to everyone at no cost. All players begin with just a single, common, free Hunter, and must use that to earn points until they can acquire a premium Hunter.

How to acquire a premium Hunter, you ask? Option One: Hold Genesis Hunters in your wallet by the time of the snapshot on May 27th, 3pm UTC. Players will receive one Premium Hunter for every Genesis Hunter they hold. Option 2: Participate and win in various contests and giveaways throughout the play to airdrop campaign. Option 3: Trade or Purchase one on the open market.

What is Hunters On-Chain

Hunters is a fantasy, top-down, casual, PVE action game with a couple of different game modes.

For PvE, each match features four players fighting monsters and leveling up. In Hunt mode, matches last for two minutes, with the top spot going to whoever has earned the most experience in that time, or whoever is the last survivor — whichever comes first. Each player starts the match at level 1 with full hit points. As they kill monsters and grab the stars that drop, players gain experience. Gain enough experience, and you level up, earning the right to choose between two, semi-random promotions. These promotions include standard power-ups such as increased damage, greater attack range, and more hit points, as well as special abilities like Damage Reflect and Demon Pact (sacrifice HP for more damage).

As the match goes on, the monsters get tougher. So players need to be active, get out on the battlefield, and increase their levels. At the center of the map lies a healing square that can be visited at any time.

Other game modes include Boss Hunt, which requires players to try and defeat a Boss dragon after leveling up, and Bounty Hunter, which is a 10 character, FFA fight with no level-ups during the match.

Players earn BGEM tokens from playing matches. They can then use BGEM to purchase chests containing random artifacts and hunter shards or swap them for BOOM tokens. Players need BOOM tokens and Hunter Shards to level up their Hunters.

Hunters On-Chain can be played through a webpage, or with the official app on Android and iOS devices.

After several years of development, Guild of Guardians is ready to officially open their doors with a game launch scheduled for May 15th, 2024! And the GoG team plans to hit the ground running, pairing the launch with an event in Discord, an AMA with the team, a special giveaway, and a series of weekly prize events!

The official launch time for Guild of Guardians is May 15th, 2024, at 10am AEDT! Thirty minutes later, at 10:30am AEST, the Guild of Guardians team will hold a special launch event on their Discord server, which includes an AMA with the team and some sort of secret, special giveaway.

Later today (May 14th), the cinematic trailer will debut. This should go live on YouTube at 8:30pm EST.

Guild of Guardians will run in a seasonal format. And with this launch we begin Act 1: Age of Dread. This first season will include significant play and earn opportunities, with over $1 million in prizes offered for various leaderboards!

The game will feature an ‘endless’ leaderboard as well as arena and boss rush challenges. Players are allowed two free daily runs (with the option to purchase two more) for the main leaderboard. There will be weekly rewards as well as a monthly prize.

Then there will be daily Arena and Boss runs as well (limited to five runs per day). Rewards for the leaderboards include Ascendent Seals, GOG tokens, and NFTs. Ascendent Seals are an in-game currency used to mint new NFTs.

You can pre-order Guild of Guardians on the Apple store and through Google Play for Android devices. The game is free. I guess pre-ordering will just let you install it as soon as it launches?

Rewards for Regional Server Test Players

Guild of Guardians has been running regional servers for some time now. But May 15th will herald their global launch. And as such, the regional servers have been taken offline temporarily, and all player progress has been wiped (aside from items purchased with fiat currency). Guild of Guardians will hand out Ruby tokens to those who played on the regional servers and reached at least commander level 10.

What is Guild of Guardians?

Guild of Guardians is a fantasy, dungeon crawler, auto-battler game. Players gather a team of characters to enter dungeons, battle monsters, defeat dangerous bosses, and score some sweet loot! The game will be free to play and built for mobile devices first.

Characters level up, gain new abilities, and gather gear to increase their power. Players fight through dungeons and other challenges to rise up the ranks of the leaderboards and earn valuable prizes.

All players will have access to the game characters without needing to own any NFTs, but NFT characters will receive additional bonuses. Players will be able to mint NFTs from the game using a resource known as Ascendent Seals.

Guild of Guardians runs on the Immutable zxEVM network and is one of the first games to fully integrate the Immutable Passport.

GoG used to be a more action-oriented game, but pivoted about eighteen months ago into an auto-battler. Guild of Guardians recently posted a video explaining their game.

Another NFT mint is upon us. This one is from Paradise Tycoon and gives users a chance to mint a Gold Pass NFT, which will act as a premium battle pass for the game and provide other benefits, potentially including future token or NFT airdrops!

Free mint? That’s right! The mint for the Paradise Tycoon Gold Pass will be completely free. In fact, since the mint is taking place on the Immutable zkEVM network, there won’t even be a gas fee!

What is the Paradise Pass Gold NFT?

The Paradise Pass Gold FT is Paradise Tycoon’s equivalent of a premium battle pass. Players can earn MOANI tokens and other rewards by completing daily and weekly tasks, and by just holding onto the NFT.

Pass holders will also have exclusive access to the multiplayer portion of the game during beta. Invite friends to your island and impress them with your decoration skills!

Additionally, Paradise Tycoon plans to start their play to airdrop campaign for MOANI tokens soon, and owning a Paradise Pass will offer more opportunities for rewards!

Supposedly players will be able to trade these Passes on Sphere (https://sphere.market/). A direct link will be released after the mint.

What is Paradise Tycoon?

Currently in open beta, Paradise Tycoon is a farming / building game along the lines of Stardew Valley. In this case, the player has won a lottery granting them a tropical island of their own. Only catch? It’s covered with weeds and a bit worn down. The player is tasked with cleaning up their island, fixing up the buildings, crafting items, completing quests, and decorating to their heart’s content!

Players will be able to trade in-game resources, as well as NFTs for crafted items and blueprints. Paradise Tycoon is currently in beta and free to play. Though there are already NFTs available on secondary markets, Paradise Tycoon is moving from Avalanche to Immutable, so you may want to check up on NFT migrations before you make any purchases.
