Blockchain game social platform MON Protocol has announced its upcoming ecosystem token MON will initially be listed on seven crypto exchanges. The news is unveiled ahead of the token going live for trading on 27th May 2024.

The exchanges include Bybit, Backpack Exchange, BingX, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, and MEXC, each with their own token launch practices and announcements to follow in the coming days. 

So far MON Protocol has partnered with over 60 web3 developers, including Shrapnel, Boomland, Guild of Guardians, and more. Its first IP Pixelmon will leverage MON across all of its games, inlcuding hypercasual Tamagotchi-style PixelPals from Ethereum L2 chain Mantle and LiquidX, which reached almost 500,000 players within two months.

Two upcoming titles to go live via MON Protocol is real-time monster battler Warriors of Nova Thera which is slated for release later in 2024, while open-world role-playing game Hunting Grounds will go live in 2025. 

More generally, MON serves as the ecosystem token for MON Protocol, which claims its built a user base of over 1 million web3 gamers and community members.

“Having MON listed on multiple leading exchanges at once is an indicator that the exchanges are as confident in the project and our community as we are,” commented MON Protocol co-founder and CEO of Pixelmon developer LiquidX Giulio Xiloyannis. 

“We saw huge excitement from our community during the MON Protocol community pre-sale, which reached its allocation in eight minutes. We are expecting a similar level of enthusiasm when we see the token list next week.”
