Prada, in celebration of the holiday season, launched its new special sweater that is part of the Timecapsule series, a project of the brand that releases one new product per month. For the holiday season, the luxury house went all out by invoking Christmas feelings with a warm merino wool garment.

It is a luxury garment, costing $3750, which was made available for about 24 hours in only 50 pieces, in keeping with the traditions of the Timecapsule collection. Obviously, the Christmas sweater sold out in no time, partly because owning such a rarity allows one to enter the world of NFTs. In fact, each of the 50 sweaters is sold paired with an associated NFT, which will be delivered 45 days after the item’s purchase.

Reddit breaks record for minted NFTs

Good news for the Reddit platform, which breaks the record with the most minted NFTs on the platform. As many as 255,000 NFTs were minted in a single day, the number of Reddit NFT holders increased from 3.5 million to about 4.5 million. This is another major step forward for the world of NFTs, which is experiencing a remarkable moment both online and offline.

Reddit had been making headlines thanks to the staggering price increase of its NFT collections reaching excesses of 799%. The previous record of 200,000 daily mints was eclipsed bringing the number of NFT Reddit holders to 4.4 million wallets. These mostly belong to users of the social platform.

What is the NBA

What is Sorare and what affects the platform’s data

Sorare began in 2018 as a fantasy game created for soccer, in which players buy, sell, trade, and manage a virtual team with digital player cards.

Sorare NBA also leverages the Ethereum blockchain network to ensure the authenticity of the cards. Each player card is an ERC-721 non-fungible token (NFT) on Ethereum: it is unique and personally owned by the player, validated through the blockchain, then subject over time to increase in value or the reverse.

Sorare platform performance data

SorareData is a data website, also available as an app for iOS and Android, that tracks all player scores and card prices to aid the coach in all game strategies.

The interface is similar to that of Sorare’s standard platform, with additional filters to check the condition and performance of players: it allows tracking players’ yellow cards, fouls incurred, and their scores.

Sorare Data also allows the coach to compete with a max 125 coaches of similar level: there will be six 1-on-1 or team matches.

Then there are upgrades and rewards on Sorare Data for the best players in all tournaments.

Sorare’s expansion

The new gaming experience can count on two million registered users on Sorare in 185 countries, including European and Asian markets where the company is experiencing rapid growth especially when it comes to football. The partnership marks Sorare’s third collaboration with a US sports league and consolidates the company’s expansion in the US.
