Minecraft Winter Drop Release Date – The Pale Garden and Creaking Arrive in Minecraft
In a social post and accompanying blog entry by Minecraft developers Mojang, The Winter Drop, which will include The Pale Garden and Creaking Mob will be released on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024.
That means you only have less than a week (at the time of writing) to wait until you can get your hands on the new Pale Wood blocks and Pale Garden Biome. We’ve put together full details of what’s coming in the Winter Drop, so you can check it out.

Overall, this is set to be a really impactful update to Minecraft. The Pale wood alone has the potential for hundreds of new building ideas, with white being one of the wood colors that’s just hard to replicate in game. There’s dozens of building styles from around the world that utilize white wood, and now there’s a way to replicate it in-game.
What’s more, the bright orange Resin blocks have the potential to really spice up those dull buildings you’ve made before. The bright colors will definitely pop out compared to the numerous greys and browns that exist in the game.
