The International 2024, TI13, is in full swing, and the Main Event is just days away, so time to read our visitor guide! With just eight of the best Dota 2 teams in the world remaining teams, the live LAN portion of the tournament is about to begin, and if you’re one of the lucky fans heading to the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, you can now officially get excited!
But if you are headed to Copenhagen, it’s good to get some ideas of what’s going on around the stadium, and what the city can offer. There’s not many tourist guides that specifically cater to Dota 2, but that’s where we come in! Below is a comprehensive guide to visiting TI13 on-site, from helpful info to essential details.
TI13 Visitor Guide – Getting to the Arena
We won’t be covering accommodation here (it’s a little late for that), but what we can share is some essential info about getting to the Royal Arena and making the most of your TI13 experience.
The Royal Arena is located around three or four miles from the center of Copenhagen, in the area called Ørestad. Luckily, the nearest train and metro station is called Ørestad, so there’s not much confusion to be had. And there’s some fantastic rapid transit options
Train
- From the Airport, Ørestad is just two stops away on the train. Get on the train (on platform two) heading in the direction of the city center.
- From the opposite way, it’s just as simple. You’ll want to get the train heading towards the airport, and get off two stops before at Ørestad.
Metro
- The M1 Metro service runs through Ørestad
Bus
- The number 33 Bus runs to Ørestad
Other
- Ubers and taxis are available throughout Copenhagen, but with easy rapid transit, we’d recommend saving your money unless you’re traveling late at night.
TI13 Entry, Tickets, etc.
At the time of writing, there were still some tickets available for all days of The International 2024. Floor tickets (assigned seating) however, has sold out. Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster.dk, but cannot be purchased in-person at the arena.

Below are some helpful maps of the arena and surrounding area:

We’ve got a dedicated merchandise article for those desperate for memorabilia, but below we’ve detailed some of the other info:
OG Hub Watch Party
OG is hosting a watch party for the event. Details are available on our detailed article about the event.
Signings
Signing sessions by teams will be taking place throughout the event, and we’ll be updating this page with details as soon as we have them.
Food and Drink
There’s dozens of options for food in and out of the arena. The Royal Arena has concessions, but if you’re not keen on that, there’s numerous fast food places, such as Burger King and McDonalds with easy walking distance. A meal here will run you between 100-150 DKK (about $15-$20).
The best spot for food is likely the Field’s Shopping Mall, which is just a 5-10 minute walk from the Arena. This has numerous restaurants, and is open until 8pm each day, with some restaurants closing as late as 9pm.
