Donald Trump’s new NFT series secured 23,000 sales at more than $2.17 million. It has just been a day since the debut of the NFT collection.
Trump announced his 4th NFT collection on August 21. The series was published with the title: “America First Collection. The collection went with a total supply of 23000 sales within a day, selling for $99 each. The collection made more than $2.17 million
Trump’s latest collection is underperforming in contrast with premier collections
If the America First collection reaches its maximum supply of 360,000, the collection revenue will be more than $35 million, but only if all of it sells out. However, Trump’s latest NFT collection is performing slower than his previous collections.
The possible reason for slower market performance could be the restrictions on the resale of the collection in the secondary market till 31st January 2025.
Trump has been a voice of crypto in his election campaigns as well
Trump has been voicing his opinion on the promotion of crypto through his presidential campaign. The Republican presidential candidate has promised to make America the “Crypto capital of the planet” as well if he wins. He is even accepting cryptocurrency donations for his campaign.
The collection’s official website denies the latest NFT collection to be political. The design of this collection shows Trump in a Captain America suit, holding boxing gloves with the American flag imprinted on it. There are also special incentives that the NFT promises like a special Gala Dinner with Trump himself, a piece of suit that he wore in his recent debate, and golden Trump sneakers.
