A new patch means a new set of game bugs. This tends to be true every time a new patch comes out and Patch 9.04 was no different. Players encountered a major bug where their mouse froze in the middle of the game. However, with the release of the Patch 9.05 Notes, the annoying mouse freeze bug in VALORANT still hasn’t been fixed.
There seems to be a simple fix whenever this bug appears. Just press the ESC, Tab, or scroll button and your mouse will go back to normal.
However, players find this glitch extremely annoying especially in moments when they are required to shoot or else they’ll lose the round. Some fans thought that the mouse was the problem. They went out of their way to buy a new one only to encounter the same issue over and over again.

Streamers were also caught in their livestreams suffering from this issue. They were unable to move in compromising situations and the issue cost them the round or worse the game. More players are coming forward to share their experiences and catch the attention of the developers.
VALORANT Mouse Freeze Bug just one of many – but fixes are on the way
VALORANT has been known to be plagued with different kinds of game bugs. Although Riot Games is actively fixing these bugs as revealed in the Patch 9.05 Notes, new bugs keep showing up every patch they deploy. In the recent patch, a few bugs were found in different interactions with Vyse’s abilities. Her trap called “Shear” creates an indestructible wall whenever an enemy crosses.
Yoru’s clone should trigger this wall when it passes through the trap, but it fails to work that way. The wall also breaks Iso’s shield when touched. This should not happen as the wall doesn’t provide any damage.
There is also a report wherein the “Arc Rose” ability needed some space between the player and the wall to be placed properly. Riot Games confirmed that these are some of the bugs they are working on and prioritizing after the new patch.
Aside from these new bugs, old existing bugs appear from time to time within the community. Players encounter the classic stuck in the loading screen and the sudden game crashes daily.
