Sparking Zero is finally here, released today, and ready for everyone to play! If you started in early access though, you might notice a few changes. There’s been a pretty substantial drop that’s come on the first day, so quite a bit will have changed. What’s happened with the Sparking Zero Day 1 patch?
A lot of games aren’t published completely finished anymore. Even this title, which had whole days of Sparking Zero early access where you could play, seems to need a giant patch. So, everyone hoping to jump in on our first day since release has had to contend with a major download. There’s a Sparking Zero Day 1 patch that has changed some elements of the game.
Sparking Zero Day 1 Patch
The Day 1 patch is waiting for you when you first jump in! It’s a pretty hefty one too, at 9.6 GB. Technically the Day 1 patch has its own version name, it’s version 1.003.003.003.003.002, which just rolls off the tongue.
What exactly is changing with the Patch? We don’t know for certain. Usually, Day 1 patches are important for finishing off the game. In terms of balance, we’re not expecting Sparking Zero to be incredibly well-balanced like FighterZ. Some adjustments might be made though. Since we haven’t had much time to test things before the patch though, it’ll be difficult to know what’s been changed.
If you’re excited to jump into the game as soon after release time as possible, you can check out quite a bit of what’s on offer without getting the Day 1 patch. However, to try out everything in the game you will need to make the download. The current update is going to be required for Online play, so you can’t face friends or get all the Sparking Zero trophies until you download the update.
Once you have the Sparking Zero Day 1 patch installed though, you’re free to explore everything this new release has to offer.
