When Is the Next Steam Sale Event?

The next Steam Sale Event is Steam Scream Fest 2024. Themed after the spooky October season and Halloween, Steam Scream Fest will put on sale some of the best horror games around from Oct. 28 until Nov. 4.
When Is the Next Steam Event?

The next Steam event is Steam Next Fest October 2024 which takes place from Oct. 14 – Oct. 21. While no games will be on sale during this event, demos of hundreds of upcoming games will be free to download and play during this event.
When Is the Next Major Steam Sale?

The next major Steam Sale will be the Steam Autumn Sale 2024 which kicks off on Nov. 27. As a Major sale, this will feature significant discounts, and usually some extra features like mini games. If you’re waiting for a major title to go on sale, this is the date to wait for.
What Different Types of Steam Sale Are There?
There are generally three types of Steam Sale and event.
The first are the Major Steam Sales which take place once a season. These offer discounts on the majority of games on the Steam Platforms, usually with record low prices and great deals. Often, you’ll find big name games reduced to very low prices and reaching new historical low levels. If you’re saving up, this is the best time to spend.
Then there are Steam Fests. These are generally genre-specific, such as Simulator Fest, a celebration of Simulation games, or Fighter fest, targeting the best fighting games on Steam. In these events, discounts will usually be focused on just the games within that genre.
The final type are Next Fests. Next Fests don’t generally have discounts, and instead offer demos of upcoming games still in development. If there are sales, they’re typically on early access games or previous entries in a franchise, rather than the upcoming game.
