Kuro Games has confirmed that the new characters for the Wuthering Waves 1.4 update are Camellya, the much-awaited 5-star unit from Black Shores, and Lumi as a 4-star from Huanglong. Camellya is likely to be featured on the banner of the second event because it happens to be the only new 5-star character released in this patch, thereby promised to ensure one more return chance for fans.

Officially Confirmed Wuthering Waves 1.4 Characters
Kuro Games has confirmed via social media that Camellya will be featured in the Wuthering Waves 1.4 update. She is the popular 5-star unit of Black Shores. From credible leaks, the first phase of the new update will feature Camellya, who, according to the leaks, will be a Havoc. Camellya has already appeared in the main story in “Huanglong 1” Chapter 1 Act 5 following Rover’s encounter with Verina.

There is another new one too, Lumi, who has been unveiled on Sept. 13 as part of Kuro Games’ drip marketing on X. Lumi is a 4-star unit and serves as a navigator in Lollo Logistics. So far, not much is known about her; however, as per the latest information, she is believed to be an Electro character with an animal companion. The fans are waiting eagerly to know more about her ahead since beta for version 1.4 is set to unfold.

Leaked Banners for Wuthering Waves 1.4
While Camellya is the only confirmed 5-star in this patch, news about the second event banner, supposedly set to boast another rerun of one of the community’s favorite 5-star units, is very rife. According to a prominent leaker known as @witheringwww, Yinlin is expected to return in version 1.4. However, players should temper their expectations, as these leaks are subject to change.

Yinlin has already appeared in her own companion story quest called “Solitary Path”. This quest was released on June 6. You can start this quest by answering a call from Chixia in the game.
Wuthering Waves 1.4 Update Release Date
As of now, it is still unknown when the Wuthering Waves 1.4 update will hit the games because the details of the previous ones differ.
